New to the neighborhood?
Whether you’re considering a move to our neighborhood or just moved in, we welcome you! We wish to promptly and personally welcome everyone, however sometimes we unintentionally miss a new neighbor. Please don’t be shy because we want to get to know all homeowners and renters, as well as landlords. Use the form on the
Contact tab to introduce yourself and a neighborhood representative will greet you soon. Also, consider joining us at an upcoming quarterly association meeting - check out the
Neighborhood Association tab for more details.
Neighborhood schools
Shamrock Gardens Elementary,
Eastway Middle, and
Garinger High are the Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools for our neighborhood. Our School Committee focuses on Shamrock Gardens Elementary and encourages neighborhood volunteers to participate in the Communities in Schools program there. Refer to the
School Committee page for more info.
Neighborhood amenities
Shamrock Park is tucked away in the heart of Country Club Heights, bordered by Airlie Street, Jeff Street and Hilliard Drive. The park offers a playground area, gazebo, sand volleyball court, tennis court, along with several picnic areas and benches to enjoy the view. Click
here for more info on our park.
Our
Community Garden, located along Dunlavin Way, is very popular with many neighbors. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation sponsers the garden, but Country Club Heights neighbors do much of the work. Check out our gardening forum on our
Message Boards for more info on our Gardening message board.
